Herbalism is the study of botany and use of plants for medicinal purposes. Every culture around the world has some from of traditional herbal medicine using their native plants. Today plant medicines are being used in clinical trials world wide for their health promoting actions. From which many pharmaceutical medications are isolated synthetic components of medical plants for eg salicylic acid from meadowsweet is the active ingredient in commonly used aspirin.

As a trained herbalist I use botanicals to create powders, topical creams, teas, and liquid extracts (tinctures) to support my patients needs. Herbal formulas are made up for each individual and are unique to their health needs at the present time.
