Optimise wellbeing through diet

People decide what to eat, when to eat and where to eat it, often based on behavioural or social motives rather than on an awareness of how food choices impact our health. 

My role as a nutritionist is to educate my clients on the importance of a whole food diet. In a whole food diet many foods can be considered functional as in their nutritional content is considered to have a functional aspect so profound it can improve certain disease states. Improving my clients relationship with food helps them to make empowered decisions which can reduce their risk of developing chronic diseases.

Clients may undertake dietary changes or supplementation for many reasons

  • A nutrient deficiency

  • Allergies or intolerances

  • Weight loss

  • Diisease management

  • Or to improve nutrient density especially during preconception and pregnancy.
